My
design wall fell down.
Granted, it's only a piece of batting pinned to
the wall, but it has worked pretty well for at least a couple years! I
may come up with a more stable option at some point, but for now, I just
stuck it back up there. As I looked at my sewing space from the step
stool,
I noticed that my habit of fabric piling was getting out of
hand.
Time to clean up and make a fresh start!
The last
time I organized my scraps, I made a box of tiny scraps, which quickly
became filled and overflowing with any and all scraps.
There were
leftovers from the Supernova quilt, my dad's quilt and Pastor Jamie's table runner. And lots of sheet scraps.
I
took the biggest and most colorful rainbow scraps and decided to use
them in this quilt back for my Supernova quilt! The strips are 18" long by whatever wide. The sun block is the
practice block I made for my dad's quilt.
Now to put the Supernova quilt all together.
I don't know how I'm going to quilt it yet, but I really want to finish it up!
Hope you all had a great Monday!
