Prayer Shawl

Way back in May, I finished the Blanket for Brother Old School. I had some left over yarn and decided that I would make a prayer shawl for church. 

The pattern I tried is called Sunray. It's a scarf size in the pattern, but I just added more stitches to make a shawl.

After many months of not working on it, I finally decided to get 'er done over Christmas break. The darker brown stripes happened after I discovered I was running out of yarn. I think they add a bit of interest to an otherwise plain brown shawl!
