Snow day simple pleasures:

Staying in my jammies as long as I want

Making breakfast

Getting out for a walk with my new quilty umbrella before the rain turned into freezing rain. I enjoyed listening to the raindrops hit the umbrella as I walked

Coming in from the cold and spending time practicing piano

Baking cookies

Finishing reading this book I started during Christmas break

A bubbling pot of soup on the stove

The satisfaction of clearing the slush off the sidewalk and then pausing to look up and seeing sparkling icicles on the branches
