November

How was your November? It seems like time is flying by so quickly these days. With the first snowfall yesterday, I've gathered some crafty projects to snuggle up with on the couch. The turkey pillow panel came from Bud's Thrift for 50 cents. I sewed it up on a Saturday afternoon and totally enjoyed myself ha! I haven't made one of those since I was a kid. I've been enjoying crocheting a row by row blanket with yarn I got super cheap from the new craft thrift store, Stuff Creative Reuse! If you like the thrill of the hunt, check them out for all kinds of craft supplies!

Thanksgiving was a whirlwind trip to see mom and dad. We had good conversation and ate delicious food. When I got home I discovered my fridge wasn't working boo. I'm hoping that can be repaired this week! It's been a good excuse to get creative and use up foods in the freezer. I've made two kinds of soup, a no knead pumpkin bread, and a rhubarb custard pie. My birthday was quiet and relaxed. It's been so good to have some slow days at home to rest and recharge. I'm guessing December will be busy. I'm hoping to go slow and take it all in! Do you have a December fun list? I'd love to hear your ideas!
