Indigo Stars

 

I've had these indigo fabrics folded neatly in my stash since Kris and I had a dyeing day back in 2018. Deciding how to use them has been difficult because each piece is so unique, cutting them up just doesn't make sense to my brain. I decided enough thinking about it just cut into them already!! Since I really wanted to highlight the indigo fabrics, I chose this simple star pattern with an all white background. Ahhh calming. But then I wanted some fun stitching for the quilting. I started hand quilting with regular white quilting thread and then added some big stitch quilting in neon pink thread. Fun! I really like how it turned out and hooray I used some hand dyed fabrics! Yay for a small finish!
