Week In The Life: Monday
Delivering roses to our choir seniors. Since we aren't able to have our final concert this year, Kirk thought it would be nice to give our seniors the rose they would've received at the concert. We set out this morning and started ringing doorbells. Even though we practiced proper social distancing, only a few answered the door. We were happy to visit briefly with the ones who did, especially since we didn't get a chance to say goodbye to anyone with school being cut short this year. We'll be back at it tomorrow!
Our lunchtime view. We wanted burritos at Chipotle, so we headed downtown. For some reason, they couldn't make burritos so we had to get bowls. We decided to eat here at an outside table. I don't know what happened to the warm spring weather but it has been really chilly lately. Needless to say, eating outside was pretty brisk. There weren't too many other people around downtown this afternoon.
Chris and Felix were hanging out and having fun when I got back home. Felix decided to practice walking tonight. We've been trying to get him to walk more but he has refused, sitting down on his butt any time we mention the word walk. He was very brave tonight though as he walked from me to dad, to mom, and back to me. Each time, he would stand up straight and steady himself. Then he took off with tentative steps that turned into quick running steps. He crashed into each one of us for a hug. He had the biggest smile on his face each time he successfully made it across the carpet. It was the cutest thing and we are so proud of our cheeky man!
We had a little hallway hang.
Felix has not been eating great lately but he does love watermelon, just like his mom. Jenny brought home McDonalds for supper. Mmm I love McDonalds coke but I feel terrible after I drink it. I may not sleep tonight.
I love that little Felix face! haha
