WIP Wednesday

Spring Break!! As you can see, things are still looking pretty bleak outside but the Naked Ladies are starting to pop up. That little burst of green always gives me hope for spring.

I have been keeping busy the last several days doing all the things that I haven't had time to do because of the musical. I was so excited to finally get my way too long hair cut on Saturday. I decided to go shorter and it feels great! Then on Saturday night, Kristie took me to see the musical, Quilters, at the IQSCM. I enjoyed the show and girls night out with her!

On Monday, I deep cleaned my bathroom. That felt pretty amazing. I cleaned all the drawers and cabinets and finally tossed that can of red hairspray I've had from years ago when I dressed up like Cyndi Lauper for the musical Footloose. Why do I keep all the things? I've got more spots to tackle for sure. Tuesday was a dentist appointment and breakfast with my friend, Joni. I really do miss her all the time. It's been a weird school year for me, doing all the things we used to do together without her for the first time. It was so good to catch up with her, though, and we decided we need to get together more often. 

Today, I have been home and quilting my plus blocks! 

I'm getting ready to turn the plus panels into pillow covers. Hooray for free time and energy to tackle my project pile! And I'm so happy that I still have a few more days of break left!
