Finished Plus Block Pillows

Back in January, I joined in the Plus Block Quilt Along hosted by Stephanie. Here is my original post. I wanted to use up some of my solids scraps, so I made smaller 5" blocks with solid pluses and low volume fabrics for the background. It was fun to dig through my scrap bins to see what gradients I had of each color. There were more colors in there than I thought! I knew I wouldn't have time to make an entire quilt and decided to make pillow covers instead. I'm excited to have these finished! 

I did some close straight line quilting on these and I really like how it looks. These are 20" pillows which will be perfect for using on the couch. I like how they turned out and hooray for more scrap busting! I enjoyed following along with everyone's progress on Instagram.
