Rainy Weekend

On Friday night, the Lincoln Modern Quilt Guild had a holiday party at the Yellow Barne, which was a really neat place! I had a great time and you can see more about the fun here. We played quilt block charades (I got "pickle dish" Ha!) and then did an ugly fat quarter exchange and this is what I got. Mmm..tasty grey cupcakes. I somehow picked the package that contained fabric that measured MORE than a fat quarter. So now what should make? Hot pads? Apron?

On Saturday, my friend Tony got married.
It's really tricky to take photos after a wedding.

It rained allll weekend.

On Sunday, I played for church then a swing choir performance then back to church for the kids program. It was a long day with lots of Christmas carols.

They're doing a blue and white color scheme at church this year.

After the craziness, I worked on a couple Moda sampler shuffle blocks.

Quilting definitely keeps me sane.
How was your weekend?

  1. Okay...I'm in love with your cupcake fabric!! My weekend found us enjoying a great work Christmas party...that overflowed into an after party at our house. So need less to say, no a lot of sewing....but loads of fun!!
