Wonder Woman Wednesday

I want to thank everyone who voted for Jimmy's Superhero Quilt over at the Bloggers Quilt Festival. It didn't win anything, but being chosen for the viewers choice category was exciting!

So, in the spirit of pixelated superheroes, here is the mini Wonder Woman quilt I made for my sister's birthday.

I've been experimenting with the strip size to see how small I can go. This time, I cut the strips at 1 1/4". When I could consolidate the strips into a square, like in the face and outfit,  I did.
This mini measures 15 1/4" x 20"

I wanted to make it reversible with some improv on the back!

In the past couple weeks, I've been fortunate to see some wonderful shows downtown at the Lied Center. Here's an update on the cool mural I posted about before! I love the colors!

The weather is supposed to change today, the weatherman keeps saying snow. Here's what was happening in the yard yesterday. There are a few pretty plants hanging on!
