WIP Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!
Wow we had some severe weather here in Nebraska last night! My seedlings keep getting washed out by the heavy rains. Sigh. So sad.

The skies turned dark in the evening, so I fired up my sewing machine and quilted this baby quilt. Luckily, the power stayed on so I could finish! Now I'm working on the binding. The green was not my first color choice but I really didn't want to run to the store for more fabric. I think the green will be fine and it works well with the backing.

Last weekend, I decided to get out my scrap boxes and start this project. I was inspired by this  Candy Coated Quilt!
At first, I wasn't sure if I liked how it was turning out but now I think it's prettier than I thought it would be!
I'm going to add a few more rows to make it a baby quilt size.
So, that's what I'm doing today!
What are you working on?

  2. Love these both. Our pluses are twins. You may have convinced me to make a candy coated quilt.
