A Quilt For Sam

Sam is a former student. When she found out that she was expecting, she asked if I would make her a baby quilt. I just can't say no when one of my favorite former students asks so nicely! So, I got to work.

I enjoyed using the simple squares for the orange and grey baby quilt so much, I thought I would do the same thing for Sam. But once I got into it, I wasn't loving the results. I rearranged those squares so many times with no success. I finally tried the plus arrangement and that's when I felt like the fabrics and colors were clicking.

The quilt measures 40" x 48"

Sam was so excited to get the quilt and said she wanted to keep it for herself haha!
