It's Beginning to Feel Like Winter
Last week, I realized that I own several pairs when I felt the wintery air blowing up my pant legs.
The colorful fall views have shriveled into a brown and dismal crispiness.
The squirrels are getting fat on birdseed from my bird feeder, even though there are still a lot of acorns around.
Gary and I picked up so many leaves before it snowed last week. Usually I'm excited for the first snowfall, but this one was not that great. It mostly snowed after dark so I didn't get to see it until morning when I cleaned off the cars. That's when I got snow in my shoes and realized that my saggy socks were not going to do. Maybe I will get some new socks for my birthday!
