Denim Circles

I've got yard work on the brain! Since I've been out of town for most of the month, I haven't accomplished much out there.
     Yesterday, I bought a bunch of clearance annuals to put in planters. It's kind of exciting to buy plants for 64 cents!! Some of them were a bit scraggly but I think they will snap out of it with some fresh dirt. 
     So this morning, I was all excited to get outside and plant things. Then I looked out the window...thunderstorm. Booo! It's almost noon and still dark outside. I think I hear thunder again.
     The good news is I washed my dishes and got the binding put on the scrappy trip around the world quilt. I guess I will keep working on the quilt today!
