After camping last Friday night, we decided to check out the small village of Brownville, Ne. We discovered that Brownville was established in 1854 and it became an important port on the Missouri river. I'm guessing it must be one of the oldest towns in Nebraska, since it had many firsts for the state.
We drove around looking at all the neat old houses. My favorite part was looking for all the quilt blocks on houses and buildings. These are the ones we saw, but I think there were more.
I really want to put a quilt block on my garage! If I owned a barn, I would probably cover the whole thing with blocks. So, what block design would you choose? There are so many possibilites!
