The First Snowfall

In the rush to get out the door this morning, I almost didn't look up. I'm glad I did, because this burst of pink only lasted for a minute. As I drove to work, the pink streaks faded into thick grey clouds that blanketed the sky. 

And then to my surprise....snowflakes!
