Paper Pieced Hearts

Yesterday I said that I wanted to copy my own version of these heart patterns to make them match the size of the letter blocks I have already made.

I changed my mind.

As I was going through my scrap boxes, I realized that my scrap pieces are getting smaller and smaller! So, I went ahead and made the 6" blocks as printed.

To make the blocks the same size as the rest, I added a white border.

Time flew by and before I knew it, I had made 4 blocks!

I really liked making these. Each block was a surprise when I turned it over to see the finished product. I think my favorite is the blue and red version, it has a log cabin feel to it.
