Red Robin

I've heard that when the robin returns, it is a sure sign of spring. The robins have made their appearance around here in the last month or so. I see them in large groups, up in trees or on a sunny patch of grass. Robins are one of my favorite birds because of their cheerful song. Hearing birds singing in the morning makes me hopeful for spring!
