Where did October go? Wow that was fast! Kristie and I visited a new to us apple orchard a couple weekends ago. It was a beautiful morning and a fun time. Apples fresh from the tree are so delicious! So far, I've enjoyed them in an apple tart and a crisp. Yum yum. My chaos garden had lots of herbs to harvest! I'm drying basil, lemon verbena, lemon balm, thyme, sage, and rosemary. It's my first time drying herbs and making tinctures. I hope to use them over the winter. My one cherry tomato plant has produced lots of tomatoes as well as taken over the entire garden! I had no idea it would do that ha! I picked another bowl full of tomatoes this afternoon. I'm guessing these will be the last since it's getting frosty overnight. The last photo is of my mom's pears from her tree. She had a bumper crop this year! She made a special trip to Lincoln and Omaha to share them with us. We're lucky kids! ❤️ They were so juicy and good!
