Foxy

     Here is my second project that has been keeping me busy during the down time at musical rehearsal. The pattern is called Lester the Fox from the Interweave Knits Weekend 2011.
     The pattern was a bit confusing to follow, but I muddled my way through. Especially confusing was how to go about the color work. I tried carrying the yarn across the back but that ended up all bunchy and bad looking. I decided to cut the strands and tie them in knots to secure them. Probably not how that's supposed to work!
     I really love his big tail. My favorite part was knitting the clothes! His little sweater doesn't quite meet the top of the pants...it's sort of a belly shirt! Next time I will knit a few more rows.
     I'm so glad I gave this pattern a try. Maybe I will try a girl version next. So what do you think? What should I name this cutie fox?
