Feather and Fan Shawl

This is the shawl I started while watching the Olympics. I was having one of those moments where I really wanted to try a new pattern but didn't want to go to the store to buy yarn. I had some skeins of Amazing yarn in my stash. None of them matched. 

I started knitting anyway!

It's a bit of a hodgepodge of colors. The top part is the Arcadia colorway.

Halfway down is the Wildflowers colorway. The blue edge is Glacier. 

I really like this pattern! I want to make another one, but maybe I will buy all matching yarn the next time. I'm looking forward to using this on fall nights. They are coming, I can feel it!
